Dr. John Pymm offers full-spectrum family care and obstetrics services and brings a true passion for rural medicine to his work at Bear Lake Memorial. After high school, Dr. Pymm volunteered in Argentina where he saw a huge need for health care providers. “I desired to have more knowledge and skills that would allow me to help these people,” he says. He attended medical school at Des Moines University, followed by a one-year fellowship in Memphis, Tennessee, where he then stayed on as a faculty member for one year. “My love for medicine only grew as I studied and worked,” Pymm said. Dr. Pymm and his wife, Renee Anne Lemire Pymm, have four children and are so excited to make Bear Lake their home.
