Marilee grew up in Montpelier and graduated from Bear Lake High School. She attended Utah State and graduated with a BA in Psychology, then continued in Rehabilitation Counseling, receiving her Master’s degree in 2002. Marilee began working for Bear Lake Memorial Hospital’s Counseling Services office in 2011, providing psycho-social rehabilitation services. In 2013, she became certified as a Licensed Professional Counselor and has enjoyed the challenges that come with providing mental health therapy. Marilee has received training in suicide prevention, Adlerian therapy, EMDR, Mindfulness, among other modalities.
Marilee and her husband have four children. Her free time is spent running her kids around and cheering them on as they participate in various sports.
