Shaun came to Bear Lake Memorial Hospital in June of 1998 after completing his Master of Social Work degree at the University of Utah. Shaun is married and has four grown children. With over 25 years’ experience, Shaun can competently treat a wide variety of mental health challenges. He has extensive training and experience treating trauma related issues like abuse, neglect, and PTSD. Shaun has been successfully utilizing EMDR therapy for 25 years to treat trauma, anxiety, phobias, and conversion disorders. Additionally, Shaun employs Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS) as another evidenced based treatment for trauma and other mental health concerns.

Working in a rural area has allowed Shaun to treat a wide range of clients ranging from preschoolers to the elderly. Personal interests include his family, church service, listening to audio books, woodworking, groundskeeping at the Bennington Cemetery, motorcycling, Korean Dramas, and participating in the Montpelier Rotary Club.
